Drawing or workspace problems #
The editor will not open on my phone
Use a computer or tablet. The editor requires enough room for the library, canvas and Properties panel.
I cannot find my guest drawing
Use the same browser and its original guest session. Guest drawings expire after 24 hours without an edit. Sign in or export while the drawing is still available; signing in can move it into your account when the account has room.
New drawing is disabled
Check the drawing count and storage message in your workspace. Reaching either limit can block creation. Export anything you need before deleting a drawing to free capacity; deleting a drawing cannot be undone.
Symbols and connections #
A line will not connect
Choose Connect and verify the line type and highlighted ports. Process and signal compatibility is enforced. Move closer to the intended port, and press Escape to cancel an unfinished connection. Conflicting line groups must be resolved before joining their members.
An instrument tag is rejected
Use one to six letters and one to eight digits in the tag dialog. The complete tag must be unique on the sheet. Search for the existing tag before choosing another number.
I cannot edit an engineering field
If it is inherited from a line group, edit that field under Line Group / Line Number. Save the group to apply the value to its members.
Validation markers are missing
Run Engineering → Validate, open Issues and enable markers in View. Select an issue to locate its affected object.
Saving and downloads #
An edit did not save
Read the editor’s error message and keep the drawing open while checking your connection and account capacity. Retry Save. Engineering forms need Save engineering data after editing. If possible, export the current drawing before leaving the page.
Valve sizing did not appear in Properties
In the sizing dialog, choose Insert into properties, then Save engineering data. The standalone calculator does not update your drawing. Correct any input error before inserting a result.
PNG or JPG export fails
Try SVG from the Export menu and check browser download permissions. PNG and JPG need the browser to render a raster image; an SVG download does not need that conversion.
